Your Health
​
Please advise us of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements before you book a retreat with Avventura. If you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on our retreats we reserve the right, for your own wellbeing, to advise you to stop participating.
Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, our retreats sometimes take place where the land is uneven, and we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.
We ask that women who are 12 to 28 weeks pregnant provide a letter from their health practitioner specifying that they are fit to travel and able to engage in the activities that we provide.
All health issues including allergies MUST be disclosed at the time of booking.
Payment Policy
To reserve a spot on one of our retreats, a deposit of 25% is due to secure your reservation. The remaining cost of the retreat is then due 45 days before arrival. You will be notified by email with the payment details when the remaining balance is due. Your 25% deposit must be paid to secure your place on the retreat. If the remaining balance is not made 45 days before arrival, your spot will be offered to another guest without a refund of your deposit.

Prices DO NOT include flights, transfers or travel insurance.
Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason and for these reasons, your deposit is non refundable..

Travel Insurance
We require that your travel insurance covers the activity of your retreat with us as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and all the usual risks.
It is your responsibility to organise suitable travel and health insurance. You acknowledge that our retreat is not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if you fail to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaving you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.
You understand and acknowledge that it is a condition of booking that you must take out an adequate travel insurance policy that covers all items listed in the sample itinerary for your chosen retreat, as well as but not limited to, trip cancellation insurance, and any other activities that which may reasonably be undertaken during the course of your retreat. The policy and insurance coverage must be valid and in effect for the entire duration of your Avventura Retreat.
Please note, even if you have private health insurance in your Country of Residence, it is unlikely that this insurance will cover overseas trips to the extent required to participate in the activities organised on a trip with Avventura Retreats.

You will be asked to email or bring your policy with you to the retreat in case of an emergency.

Cancellations Policy: Guest Cancellations
If you need to cancel any retreat with Avventura Retreats, notice of cancellation must be provided in writing.
Please refer to the following for a breakdown of applicable cancellation rules:
Your 25% deposit must be paid to secure your place on the retreat. If the remaining balance is not made 45 days before arrival, your spot will be offered to another guest without a refund of your deposit.

There is a 15 day cooling off period for your deposit once received. If you decide to cancel within the 15 days from booking, your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel after the 15 days, your deposit is non refundable.
Cancellations less than 45 days before the start date will mean you have paid the full retreat cost of your Avventura Retreat and this full retreat cost is non-refundable (including the deposit paid and balance) and will result in a forfeit of all sums paid.

Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
Late Arrivals/Early Departures:
We do not offer credit or refunds of any kind for arriving late to any Avventura Retreats and the same goes for departing early.

Cancellations Policy: Cancellations made by Avventura
If for any reason Avventura Retreats has to cancel or change the start date of any retreat, for any reason whatsoever, you’re entitled to transfer the sums paid to another Avventura Retreats trip (either scheduled or at some future time within the next two (2) years) to be used as credit.
Alternatively, you may request a refund of payments made by You to Us, which will be reviewed and assessed based on the cancellation reason and circumstances, taking into consideration any non-retrievable costs to which we committed in anticipation of your retreat.
For trip cancellations or postponements made in connection with COVID-19, special terms apply.
Avventura Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreats such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

Third Parties
Avventura Retreats holds no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including in the event that they modify the nature of a service on a retreat as compared with the advertised nature of the service.
Further, Avventura Retreats accepts no responsibility for delayed, missed or cancelled flights, buses, ferries, transfers, or any other modes of transportation required by You to get to Your accommodation, or any other activity or event in connection with or relating to Your retreat.

General Waiver
​
You agree to sign a waiver with Avventura Retreats at least 10 days before your retreat start date.
You acknowledge that during any trip with Avventura Retreats you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged, and so as is legally permissible, you surrender your right to any cause of action against Avventura Retreats, their agents, contractor’s, employee’s and directors, arising from any loss or damage to any person or property that occurs during an Avventura Retreat trip, up to and including death.
All health issues including allergies MUST be disclosed at the time of booking.
Our retreat is not suitable for children under the age of 18 years or for people with physical disabilities that cannot take care or responsibility for themselves as we do not have the resources or expertise. There are areas of the retreat that people with mobility issues may not be able to access or participate in.

Exclusions
All information provided on the website and any written and verbal form of correspondence is correct at the time of publication. However, due to mechanical faults, weather conditions, or what insurers call ‘Acts of God’, some amenities may be temporarily unavailable. Very occasionally, we may have to vary the advertised programme due to staff sickness or other unforeseen problems, in which case we will always try to provide an equivalent replacement.

Team Members and Classes
In the event of one of the team members becoming injured, ill or any emergency situation that forces them to leave the retreat, then this may impact on the retreat plan, in terms of the yoga or fitness classes being cancelled. We will do whatever we can to adapt to the situation and reduce the impact this may have on your retreat experience; however we may not be able to get a substitute team member out.
The retreat will continue to run however things will be adjusted to reflect the team situation. There will be no refunds or compensation to reflect the change in an operating team situation.

Our Retreat will not accept liability for:

Any of the above events, or others beyond our control.

Loss, injury, or damage (to you) or your personal property.
​
Physical, medical or psychiatric conditions developing during or after your retreat.
​
Check that your holiday insurance policy covers these and other contingencies.

​
Photo / Video Release – Use of Image
You hereby grant Avventura Retreats the absolute and irrevocable right, and unrestricted permissions to use photographic portraits/images/videos in which you feature that are taken during the retreat to use/republish/copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Avventura Retreats.
You hereby release and discharge Avventura Retreats from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
By booking any retreat with Avventura you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.

Complaints
We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat. If you feel that a complaint is warranted, you must raise the issue directly with our Directors your retreat hosts. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to Avventura Retreats within 14 days of the end of your retreat.

Privacy Policy
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the service you requested. We do not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the site, except to log the user’s IP address and session information such as the duration of the visit to the site and the nature of the browser used. This information is used only for administration of the site system and in the compilation of statistics used by us to assess the use of the site.

This contract is entered into under the laws of the United Kingdom and in agreeing to these terms and condition you are doing so on behalf of yourself and any other parties included in your booking.
